20 Months

We had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend with Grammie and Papa. They traveled from IL to spend the weekend with us. Unlucky for Dad, we spent a lot of the weekend doing yard work. The pile of dirt in the driveway has lessened to more of a mole hill then a mountain. But, it is still there.

We took advantage of the truck and finished up the landscaping project by putting mulch in the newly built flower beds and planting additional flowers and getting the garden in. It looks really nice!

Connor enjoyed playing with his early birthday present, a new playhouse from Grammie and Papa. He really just likes to go in and out and shut the door over and over. (pictures to follow)

Today we had 20 month pictures taken. Gotta love the $10 deal, especially since Connor did not want to cooperate. The only good thing about this is it is much easier to choose and not spend an arm and a leg on pictures!

It is so amazing how big he is getting and learning so much everyday! He is IN LOVE with Elmo and Big Bird (Melmo, Bird and Ma na ma na- cookie monster). He is Mr. Independent at the park and loves to climb everywhere. His vocabulary is growing everyday but still no real sentences. Walking is much improved and now we are on to "running." He is also learning to play all kinds of ball. Samson is excited and so are we! Much to Daddy's desire, he is most likely going to be a lefty! (I am sure Aunt Judy is smiling).

I will post more pictures later of the weekend but I wanted to post the picture from today.

We hope everyone is well. Jamie is out of town this week and next too, so Connor and the dogs and I may pack up and drive to IL for the week since I am off work. We will soon be celebrating the first anniversary of CJ's Gotcha Day. We plan on going to the zoo. Then...a trip to IL for Kelli Rowold's wedding and then VACATION!! We can't wait!

Love ya all!
