We last left off with Mom and Dad coming for the weekend. We spent most of the time they were here doing yard work and landscaping. Jamie had lots of help from CJ.
Later on in June we celebrated Connor's Gotcha Day at the Columbus Zoo. We had a really good time. Connor is really enjoying the animals and all the sounds they make. His favorites are the elephants and lions.

As you can see it was a long day...
In July we drove back to Illinois for Kelli's wedding. We had a wonderful time, and what a beautiful bride! CJ and Daddy got to sport their new suits again. CJ danced hard then crashed, woke up and started at it again. On the way home we stopped in Indy to see Reagan and Jennifer. The two had a good time reading and playing while we waited for Jennifer to get home from work.

Last week we got back from our annual family vacation. This year we traveled to Isle of Palms South Carolina. Mom, Dad, Aunt Jane, Aunt Judy, Mom, Barb, Tim, Jim, Jan and McKensi joined us this year. It was really hot so we spent most of the time in the pool. We did hit the Columbia Zoo and the Charleston aquarium in our down time. Connor really enjoyed spending time with Nana, Papa, Mimi and the aunts and Uncle Tim as well as Jim, Jan and Kensi. By the end of the week Papa was referred to as "shhh" because every time CJ would ask where Papa was, Mimi would say "Papa's sleeping...shhhh." On the way home we stopped at Paula Deen's restaurant, for Mom, and Barb and Tim's new house in Atlanta. All in all we had a good time and mom is already planning for next year. We are hoping Jenni, Chris, Stacy, Ryan, Jennifer, Reagan and the new babies will be able to join us next year.

We are all back to work and a more normal schedule. In a little over a month our little man will celebrate his 2nd Birthday. Hard to believe it has been 2 years already. I am taking a cake class at Hobby Lobby with a friend so I am hoping to make an Elmo cake for CJ's birthday since he is in love with Sesame Street! He has grown so much in the past few months.

Hopefully I will be better with posting pictures.
