Connor got this picture taken the same day as the other 18 month pictures. He was ALL smiles for these.

For Easter we went back to Illinois. Thank goodness for DVD players. Connor enjoyed the headphones for just long enough to take a picture.

We got to spend some good quality time with Grammie and Grand Papa as well as multiple neighbors and friends before heading to Nana Smith's for Easter dinner. We of course hit all of our favorite restaurants while in town! We asked Dad how he felt about Papa since CJ could say that...then we asked Grammie how she felt about "ball" since that is Connor's new favorite word. She said she would work on Grammie!

The Easter bunny even made a stop at Nana Smith's house and brought eggs for Connor and Aliah (and Katelyn too). They all had a good time.
One of Connor's favorite things from his Easter basket is his stuffed Elmo. He loves to carry it around and give it hugs!
We went to the doctor yesterday for Connor's 18 month check up. He now weighs 23 pounds and is 31 3/4 inches long (11 ounces smaller then our neighbor's little boy who is 9 months old!)
Connor is really talking up a storm...if only we knew what he was saying. He has a few words down..."ball, papa, purple, more, mama, dada" and probably more. We have taught him to play ball with Samson (a great day for us). We think he is going to be a lefty, which Jamie is very excited about. First baseman here we come. He has also been working on place kicking a football in the basement of all places! He also has learned to sign and say thank you. It is cute! He amazes us everyday with all he has learned. Half of the time I will ask him to do something thinking he won't know how and he will do it. Ha! I'll show you mom! And the faces that go with the personality are priceless. I wish we could capture them all on camera! Everyday he amazes me. What a true gift from God we have!
