Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we were able to travel back to Illinois. We hadn't seen everyone since September, so it was nice to see everyone again. Connor got to spend time with Nana, Grammie, GrandPapa, Aunt Jenni and Aunt Jane. He really likes to play the piano and guitar.

As tradition, the "Kids" stuffed the turkey. Connor helped too...

On Friday mom and I spent most of the day making over 100 homemade Christmas cards. We also got to spend time with the Irwin family. Connor spent most of Friday night "walking" across the living room to various family members. McKensi was his biggest fan. He still doesn't walk much on his own, but it is only a matter of time.

Sunday we traveled to Starved Rock to meet our friends Tom and Joan Prather. We hadn't seen them since Connor's welcome home party. Needless to say he has changed a bit since then!

On Monday we packed up the van and headed up to Chicago to drop Jenni off at her apartment. The van was stuffed to the max! Poor Samson and Daisy had to almost sit on top of each other.

After hitting the Chicagoland Lego stores, we had to stop at Portillos for lunch. Connor got to experience his first Portillos hotdog. Since hotdogs are his favorite, he enjoyed it as much as we do.

Its nice to be back home. Mom traveled to Georgia this week to help Barb and Tim paint the new house they bought. We can't wait to see pictures at Christmas when they are all here.
