Saturday June 20th we traveled to back to San Antonio. This time we decided to fly. Jamie upgraded us to business class. It was well worth every penny! Mom drove to our house via Barb's in Georgia and flew down with us (via Atlanta again). Dad drove up to Chicago and met Mom and Jenni, who had just returned from Ireland, then flew down too!
Once we got there we had a few hours before Mom, Dad and Jenni got there, so we got to hang out with Keith and Jennifer and the boys. CJ had a good time playing with their dog Buckeye, who is more his size (even if he weighs the same as Samson).
Afterwards we took everyone to one of our favorite restaurants in San Antonio, Chris Madrid's, for yummy cheeseburgers. Their specialty is the Macho Burger, which has refried beans and fritos on it. YUM! YUM!
We spent father's day at the Alamo and on the River Walk followed by a nice swim in the pool and some pizza.
This is Connor's frist attempt at a cinnastick. No teeth yet, but he sure did gum it to pieces. Whatever works!
Monday morning brought the big day. It took about 5 mintues for the "official" business and about 30 for the pictures. Our lawyer and the judge were very nice! +069.jpg)
Connor didnt' want to cooperate well for the pictures. He kept looking at the flags behind the judge's desk. We told him this better be the only time he is in a courtroom unless he is a judge or lawyer!
Before hand... waiting to find a judge

Still recovering! Afterwards we came back to the hotel and went swimming. All in all it was a wonderful weekend despite the hot weather. Thank goodness for pools and air conditioning! Connor did well on the plane so hopefully we will be up for it again.

Outside the Bexar County Courthouse. Jennifer, Seth and Nick were able to join us for the morning.

As you can see...it was a rough day for CJ...
